Izzy Wagner: Body Confidence, Training & Finding Authenticity Through Training

Izzy Wagner first came onto our radar after getting involved with this year’s Rainbow Laces campaign — but for tens of thousands of people, her social media has long been a trusted source of health and fitness advice.

For Izzy, fitness is deeply personal. After growing up feeling uncomfortable in her body and experiencing bullying, it was training in the gym that helped her build confidence, find contentment, and ultimately feel able to open up about her sexuality.

In this episode, Izzy joins us to talk about her journey in sport and fitness — and why she’s so passionate about helping people in the LGBTQ+ community become the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves.

In this episode, we talk about:

  • Growing up with sport and fitness
  • Long-term body confidence struggles
  • Finding contentment through training
  • Coaching, PT work and supporting others
  • Authenticity, visibility and Rainbow Laces

It’s a cracking episode with a brilliant guest, and we think you’ll love it as much as we do!
